David Michael Hasselhoff (born July 17, 1952 in Baltimore, Maryland), also known as "The Hoff", is an American actor who was best known for his lead roles on Knight Rider and Baywatch and also forged a successful music career, primarily in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
